Thank you for subscribing to Data Research Analysis. This Return and Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds for our subscription-based data analytics and visualization platform services.
Data Research Analysis is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides instant access to data analysis, visualization, and dashboard creation tools. Because our service is digital and access is granted immediately upon subscription, our refund policy differs from policies for physical products.
All subscription fees paid for Data Research Analysis are non-refundable as a general rule. This is because:
Our service is digital and access is granted immediately upon payment
Resources are allocated for your account (storage, processing, AI generations)
Usage-based features (AI data modeling, data processing) cannot be "returned" once consumed
A free tier is available for users to test the platform before committing to a paid subscription
We strongly encourage all prospective subscribers to thoroughly test our platform using the FREE tier before upgrading to a paid subscription. The FREE tier includes:
Up to 3 projects
Up to 5 data sources per project
Up to 5 dashboards
3 data models per data source
5 AI-generated data models per month
Up to 100,000 rows per data model
Access to all chart types and visualization features
The FREE tier allows you to evaluate whether our platform meets your needs before making a financial commitment.
We may provide refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:
If you are charged incorrectly due to a system error or technical malfunction on our part, we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge. This includes:
Duplicate charges for the same subscription period
Charges after subscription cancellation was properly processed
Incorrect subscription tier charged
Charges applied despite payment failure
If our platform experiences extended downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) due to technical issues within our control, and you have not been able to access the service during your billing period, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the downtime period.
Planned maintenance windows and third-party service interruptions (Google Analytics API, Google Ads API, etc.) are not eligible for refunds.
For first-time paid subscribers upgrading from the FREE tier, we offer a 7-day consideration window from the date of your first payment. Within this period, if you determine the paid features do not meet your needs, you may request a refund provided:
This is your first paid subscription with Data Research Analysis
You request the refund within 7 days of the initial charge
You have not exceeded 50% of your tier's monthly resource limits (projects, data sources, AI generations)
You provide specific feedback about why the service did not meet your expectations
Note: This consideration window applies only once per customer and only to the first month of a new subscription.
If we make material changes to advertised features or capabilities after you subscribe, and these changes significantly reduce the value or functionality you subscribed for, you may request a prorated refund for the remaining subscription period.
The following are explicitly non-refundable:
Used AI Generations: AI data modeling credits consumed during your subscription period
Data Storage: Storage used for your projects, data sources, data models, and dashboards
Data Processing: Any data synchronization, transformation, or processing performed during your subscription
Partial Month Usage: Subscriptions are billed monthly; partial month refunds are not provided except in exceptional circumstances listed above
Change of Mind: Simple dissatisfaction or change of mind after the 7-day first-time subscriber window
Third-Party Service Issues: Problems with connected services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, external databases) outside our control
Subscription Renewals: Automatic renewals of existing subscriptions (unless billing error)
If you downgrade your subscription tier (e.g., from BUSINESS to PRO), the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund is provided for the higher tier, but you retain access to all features until the billing period ends.
When you cancel your subscription:
You retain full access until the end of your paid period
No prorated refund is issued for unused time
No account credits are provided
You may downgrade to the FREE tier instead of cancelling completely

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the exceptional circumstances described above, please follow these steps:

Provide Information: Include the following in your email:
Review Period: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
Decision Notification: You will receive an email with our decision and explanation
Refund Processing: If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
Bank Transfer: 7-14 business days depending on your financial institution
Digital Wallets: 3-5 business days
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Regardless of refund eligibility, all users have the right to export their data before cancelling their subscription. We provide tools to export:
Dashboard visualizations (PNG, PDF)
Data model results (CSV, Excel, JSON)
Project configurations
Data export is free of charge and available through your account settings. See our Cancellation Policy for data retention information.
If you initiate a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue:
Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
Access to all data and services will be revoked
We may pursue the chargeback dispute if the charge was legitimate
Future subscriptions may be declined
We strongly encourage you to contact our support team at hello@dataresearchanalysis.com to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from refund claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lahore, Pakistan.
